Contractor and Driver of the Year

2011 Contractor of the year: Belinda McQuaid

Our Contractor of the Year for 2011, certainly stepped up and hauled more freight, and was willing to run throughout the Daily system and was highly regarded by many terminals as a “go-to” truck that runs hard, works hard and above all operates safely. These are the qualities that we look for in the contractor of the year. Customer accolades for our contractor of the year were very frequent as well with several White Hats awards. Our 2011 contractor of the year is from the great state of Texas, and has had no accidents or claims, and pulls a 99 series RGN with an astonishing 81% loaded ratio - illustrating how well this truck operates. Belinda works out of the Oklahoma City terminal and being coordinated by Travis Bender. Congratulations to Belinda McQuaid, our 2011 Contractor of the Year!

2011 Company Driver of the Year: Jim Ireland

Our 2011 Company Driver of the Year always has a smile on his face, and is always a true professional both with our customers, and everyone he works with. His fellow drivers and contractors think very highly of him, and he has been involved with many of the largest freight projects at Daily Express. He has been a very hard runner, driving over 76,000 miles in 2011 on 12 axle loads. He is always on the road, with very little home time and is running in nearly 48 states wherever his trailer takes him. Jim started on a step deck, then on a 97 series , before he moved into a 4-axle truck. His coordinator, Gary Aurand, says he is just terrific with customers and today Jim is on our 12 axle fleet moving super loads for and is an excellent driver. Congratulations to Jim Ireland, our 2011 Company Driver of the Year!
